The Afrodesendant and indigenous population of the United States is being organized to stand up on March 23, 2020 to enforce the International Covenant On Civil And Political Rights which gives the descendants of slaves and indigenous people a right of “self-determination” and “remedy” in the form of reparations. The stance is also in advocacy of the right of self-determination worldwide as the United States government has been interfering in the sovereignty of other nations via economic sanctions, blockades, assets seizure, and illegal military intervention (e.g., Zimbabwe, Venezuela and Iran). We as The People choose to use our inherent political power and right of self-determination to lawfully engage with such nations as those under unlawful sanctions and end these illegal measures.
Article 1 of The Covenant states: “All peoples have the right of self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.” Black people were never given this option after being emancipated from slavery, but we can always choose it meaning stand up and say we are going to independently govern ourselves where we are.
The action is being taken on March 23 because the International Covenant On Civil And Political Rights was put into force March 23, 1976 by the United Nations and if this covenant was honored, especially by the United States government, then the former enslaved Afrodescendants and the indigenous of America as well as the whole world would be at peace and enjoying prosperity.
WILL WE CHOOSE THE ONLY LOGICAL OPTION FOR JUSTICE?
We are calling on all Afrodescendants and indigenous people to register with The People and declare independent political control over your cities on March 23, 2020.
